Ronald Ernest Paul, known best as Ron Paul, was born August 20 in 1935. Best known as the foremost leader of the "tea party" movement, he has served over thirty years in the House of Representatives and has now campaigned three times to become President of the United States.
Ron Paul wants to audit the Federal Reserve, legalize drugs, better the education system, and limit government; while at the same time, he wants to close the border, end earmarks, eliminate income tax and keep abortion illegal.
Before becoming a politican, Ron Paul spent his time providing medical care. Many times he was found to lower or even drop fees so that the underprivileged could use his services. Before this, he was a flight surgeon in the Air Force during Vietnam.
Now well into his seventies, he lives with his wife and has five grown children; one who has already taken their own path down the road of politics. Maybe if he's lucky, and with your vote, he can spend his some of his time living in Washington, instead of Texas?
